Leon was called to the bar by Lincoln's Inn in 2010 and started practice at Ten Old Square in October 2011 following the successful completion of his pupillage. He was a Hardwick, Lord Mansfield and Levitt Scholar of Lincoln's Inn. 

He is developing a practice covering a broad range of chancery and commercial disciplines, including litigation, contentious and non-contentious drafting and advisory work in property, landlord and tenant, tax, insolvency, companies, partnership, fraud, trusts, probate and estates matters. 

Leon recently spent three months retained by a leading private client firm, where he advised on a wide range of contentious trust, charity and estate matters relating to English, offshore and cross-border disputes. He has given seminars on intestate succession and on limitation factors in relation to claims against estates. 

Prior to coming to the Bar Leon taught Old English literature and critical methodology at Oxford and delivered a number of academic papers. He graduated with a first class undergraduate degree and was awarded a distinction for his MPhil. 

Leon is an accredited Mediator and a member of the Chancery Bar Association.
