Susannah Meadway's practice encompasses advisory, drafting and litigation work in the fields of trusts and associated taxation, wills, probate and the administration of estates, pensions, family provision, Court of Protection matters and charities.

The core though of Susannah's practice is non-contentious trust and estate work, and in particular:

• Assisting trustees and beneficiaries to achieve their aims for the future administration of their trusts (whether those aims be for tax efficiency, flexibility, the inclusion of particular persons as beneficiaries, or otherwise)

• Putting right mistakes which have occurred in trust documents (including wills), whether at the instance of the settlor, the testator or the trustees

• The re-arrangement of trusts, whether by use of applicable powers in the relevant trust instrument, or in the absence of such powers with the approval of the Court.

For several years now Susannah has been recommended in both the Legal  500 UK and The Chambers & Partners Guide to the Legal Profession as a leading junior in the fields of Private Client and Traditional Chancery. The Legal  500 UK 2009 reports that Susannah is "clear, focused, responsive" and "'goes down well with judges", whilst The Chambers & Partners Guide to the Legal Profession 2010 describes Susannah as a "well-regarded junior" who "is much appreciated" . Comments in the past have included that she is "a first-rate draftsman", "meticulous and thorough", "always right in her judgement", and "knows her stuff inside out and is keenly sought after for advice on variation of trusts".
