Eason Rajah KC assists banker’s widow to retain £3.5m payout

Eason Rajah KC successfully represented the widow of the international banker, Thomas Petschek, in an attempt by her stepchildren to overturn a £3.5million payout awarded to her by US Courts. The payout (Beddoe Claim) was unsuccessfully disputed in the UK Chancery Division. The battle between the widow and her stepchildren over the £30 million estate began following the banker’s death in 2009.
