Paul Stafford has written again on manorial law for the Property Law Journal. The article, “Re-constructing manorial title”, examines basic principles of manorial law as it affects lordships, and recent decisions in the higher courts. It asks whether purchasers of manorial titles today can identify and exercise rights which have substantive value. In short, is it possible to re-construct manorial title?
