Ten Old Square delivers its schools programme at the LAET
11th Dec 2023
On Saturday 2 December, members of chambers delivered Ten Old Square’s schools programme at the London Academy of Excellence Tottenham, part of chambers’ initiative to encourage diversity at the Chancery Bar. The students learnt about life as a barrister, interview participation, cross-examination technique, and debating skills. The day concluded with a debate on the use of AI in schools. It was a pleasure to meet the students, who were tremendously engaged and enthusiastic throughout the day.
As part of chambers’ commitment to widening participation, we offer three ‘access’ mini-pupillages every year to candidates from under-represented social backgrounds. Further information may be found on the mini-pupillage page of chambers’ website.
