Applications for Relief from Forfeiture for Unlawful Killing: Principles and Practice
James and Tom will discuss the legal doctrines relating to forfeiture, including in what circumstances the forfeiture rule applies and when the court will grant relief from it. They will also address the practice relating to such claims, including alternatives to applying for relief (e.g. Deeds of Variation), who to serve with relevant applications, the evidence to file in such cases, and the time limit for bringing certain claims etc.
