Timescales

Our barristers are experienced in dealing with urgent matters and meeting strict deadlines.

Clients are encouraged to provide an idea of their required timescale so that our Clerks can manage the work to meet with the client’s expectations. If unforeseen circumstances are likely to cause a delay, the Clerks will keep the clients fully informed of progress.

Given the specialised nature and the high demand for the type of legal services we provide it is not uncommon for our barristers to experience very busy periods. Priority will be given when relevant factors are known and realistic turnaround times will be provided; any outstanding work is routinely monitored to ensure efficiency is maintained.

Factors which might influence the timescales of our barristers’ most commonly provided legal services include:

  • The barrister’s availability and other commitments.
  • The urgency of the matter.
  • The volume of documentation which needs to be reviewed.
  • The legal and/or factual complexity of the matter.

Quality of Services

The barristers and clerks at Ten Old Square are committed to providing their clients with the highest possible quality of service.

All the barristers practising from Ten Old Square are self-employed, independent practitioners whose practices are regulated by the Bar Standards Board (BSB).
