
Matthew Slater Appointed to Attorney General’s ‘A’ Panel

Ten Old Square proudly announce Matthew Slater’s appointment to the Attorney General’s ‘A’ Panel of Counsel to the Crown; Matthew will continue to advise the UK Government in some of its most challenging and high profile cases, both in Chambers’ practices areas of tax and trusts, and in the field of public law.
As Junior Counsel to the Crown, he has been instructed, in appeals and to draft policy, by HMRC, the Department for Business, the Home Office, the Parole Board, the Department for Education, the Governor of the Cayman Islands / the FCO and the Ministry of Justice. As far back as 2012, Chambers and Partners said he was ‘attracting high-profile cases’.
