Eason Rajah KC TEP wins prestigious STEP Private Client Award
Eason Rajah KC TEP, of Ten Old Square, has won the Advocate of the Year category at the STEP 2021/22 Private Client Awards, which took place during a virtual ceremony.
Hosted by STEP, the worldwide professional association for those advising families across generations, the Awards are highly regarded as a celebration of excellence across the private client world. All entries go through a rigorous, practitioner-led judging process to select the best in the industry.
The Judges said: ‘This year’s winner was simply outstanding, not only because of the complexity of their work, but also their forward-thinking approach and personal ethos to their clients, colleagues and the wider profession. Their expertise and high-profile work over the past 12 months amply demonstrates that they are one of the foremost advocates of the private client bar both onshore and offshore.’
STEP Chief Executive Mark Walley said: ‘The STEP Private Client Awards celebrate the very best of the best and all those shortlisted should be very proud. The motivational and best practice work seen in each entry provides inspiration for everyone working in private client practice.’
STEP’s charity partner was the World Literacy Foundation. Donations from entrants and on the night raised over GBP65,000 for the charity, which helps to lift children out of poverty and transform their lives through literacy and access to educational resources.
